Remember the endearing 2014 Hollywood musical Begin Again starring Mark Ruffalo, Keira Knightley and Adam Levine?

Guess what? It's getting a Hindi remake you never knew you wanted but now can't stop thinking about! The Indian adaptation will be directed by Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh; the yet to be titled flick will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra.

Talking to Indian Express, Ghosh shared: "We want to tell a story about the world of music and fresh voices in the Indian scene. And through that, a take on urban relationships that don’t necessarily mean love and marriage and happily ever after. The worlds explored here are deeper than surface level – heart, hurt, passion, and above all – music.”

T-Series’ Kumar shared his excitement about making a fresh album for the film and said, “Begin Again will give us an opportunity to create music that is the most important element of the film. The original film is a masterpiece that was and still is appreciated by critics as well as the audiences. The film is still in the writing process but I hope to get together the best of the soundtracks from our musicians to make a unique music album.”

The cast for the movie has not been finalised yet nor have they revealed a release date.

Sarfraz apologises for 'black guy' comment

Two youths killed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir

Indian government has deployed forces across occupied Kashmir as residents observe Black Day. Indian troops killed two Kashmiri youths in the Khonmoh area of Srinagar, Kashmir Media Service (KMS) said on Saturday. Clashes between Indian police and residents of the area erupted in the aftermath of the killings, when Indian police used force to disperse demonstrators who had come out on the streets to protest. The killings took place on India's Republic Day, which is observed as Black Day by residents of Indian-occupied Kashmir and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The call to observe India's Republic Day as Black Day was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), that is led by Syed Ali Gillani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik, the KMS said.
